Hi there friends. Can an International student get tax return for college fees. I am already late to file taxes for 2012. If I get some money back on my college fees, I don't mind paying the late fee to file taxes. New student here need helps guys.

Don't do it. If you get audited by IRS you will be in trouble. I have seen people doing it and got away with it, but it doesn't mean that you won't get caught.

You can do that after 5 years, because after that you are considered as a resident for the tax purposes.
