I keep hearing a lot about Cyber security. Any consultancies provide training for cyber security for someone that has little/no knowledge? Is there any other sector that's hot right now?

Hanuman bro, how do I get those? Is it a tough sector for people with no IT experience? I studied accountancy. I've also heard that we need security clearance for it.

Cyber Sec is complex and huge domain. Several career tracks within Cyber Sec starting from policy and compliance , Crypto Experts , Red/Purple/Blue teams, General security engineering, cloud security , App sec, SOC and now DevSecOps. It’s not easy to train people on these.

It’s not like cyber guys are most smart out there and are preventing adversary but it needs border knowledge of multiple domain and technology to make sense and think how to secure them. Most people in industry got there starting their career as network engineer , firewalls , ldap , pki etc.

I anyone is trying to get there feet wet now, I would recommend starting career as devops , then further into pen testing , security research , malware analys, app sec and eventually bug bounty kind of stuff . This path is if you are fairly technical and really passionate about cyber sec. Don’t go this route just for easy pay cheque .

This may be out of topic. But, what I have found is that 70% of jobs are never posted online. Also, resume may help you land an interview but getting a job is a different ball game here in the USA, specially, higher paying jobs. "Networking" works in America the same way "Nepotism" works in Nepal.
