It was a history in the making. Big up to The Mustang kyidug, NY for organising the most extravagant event NYC has ever seen in the Nepalese Community. Over 1600 tickets sold. Many had to return with frustration for not being able to get in due to the sold out concert. It was a perfect management, from sound systems to lighting, to the artists' perfomance. The program was scheduled for 7 o' clock but the hall was packed even before the program started. All the seats were already taken by the early birds.

The program started with local artists performing cultural songs and dances. The host for the event was Mr Sonam Sherpa who rocked the house with his energy and humor. The first major artist was amazing Star Tsering Gyurmey who spellbound his audience with his Tibetan songs. Following him was Superstar Raju Lama who got the crowd going wild. He performed lots of hit songs including "Na Tanu ta tanu" and "Shayeed Timro". The audience went crazy. Some girls were even hysterical seeing their idols. When Raju came down the stage singing, the girls jumped over him. It was even difficult for the security guards to control the Raju Mania. Big shout outs to all the enthusiastic volunteers who perfomed their job extremely well. The best part of the concert was that it was a live concert. NYC's own band The Samsara formerly the String band collaborated with the Superstars. After Raju's performance it was Nima's moment and OH BOI! he knew how to get his crowd going on. It was just wild. He hypnotized all the ladies in the house with his killer looks and moves. The concert went on till 12:30 and then there was the dance party which was wild as well. Finally the party ended at 2:30 in the morning.

The event was organised in the aid of Tsunami victims. It was a huge support by all the people who came and helped to make this event a great success. It was for the most humble cause. We thank Mr Sonam Sherpa, The President of Mustang Kyidug,NY for all his efforts in making this event possible. Big up to all the diplomats and people who stood behind Mr President for this noble cause. Once again DJ Kartell and family thank all of you.
