who came in US through DV, i need some answer

one of my relative got DV, he is still in nepa
today he called me and told me that i need to help to get "WELCOME LETTER" for him. I am gonna help him but the question is I don't know what is "WELCOME LETTER" ?

I asked him what are the particulars we need to write on that letter, he says letter should say, that the person who write that letter is gonna pick him up frm airport, gonna keep him until he settles down, help him to find job, and so on. Then i said ohhhhhhhh thats "SPONSOR LETTER" and he said NO, its not.

does anyone know what is "WELCOME LETTER" ?
I need that answer within like 29th of march 2006.

You need to down load a form from US immigration web site Its I 134 form. Its an sponsor form. fill that up notorize it and sent it to your friend in Nepal. Let me know if you need any additional help.

A letter stating that you will pick him up , and help him out till he finds something to do .. it just a letter for the proof of emassy that he is in safe hand , its not like a sponsership letter it used to be B4.

i got it now again thanks.

thopa..if you are filling that I 134, as a sponser you need to submit how much you earn and your latest tax form..or go to USCIS web site and check for i 134 form and read the instruction how to fill it...
