I got married in 10th of March this year. My wife is in Nepal. When the company filed my H1B, I was unmarried. I came to US just one day before the filing, so that I could provide the new I-94. But my petition does not include the fact that I was married (couple of weeks before).

Now I would like to travel back to my country so that I can get stamped for H1B, and my wife for H4.

Do I have to file anything else to USCIS mentioning that I am married? Do they mention spouse's name in any documents that they provide? Please help me out.

So far as I understand, the h1b petition will not have anywhere on it your wife's name mentioned. It is now up to you how you can prove the consulor that you are married.

You have to submit birth certificate, married certificate and other testimonials as proof that you are married and the lady accompanying you is your wife.

Probably wait for other advice from sajhaites, who are more experienced in the matter.
