We gotta support what we started. But I think we rushed into this thing too early.

We don’t have a government, a PM nor an established constitution. Load shading has peaked back to over 11 hrs a day, lawlessness is rampant. As such what do we have to offer to the tourists who will see the true Nepal, beyond those paintings and photographs. At the end of the day, while we will definitely see a surge in tourism, it might do more harm in the long run. US has issued a travel warning for its citizen to visit Nepal and while this alone shouldn’t change our decision on when to held the tourism year, we also don’t have any reason to do it now.

We could have waited few years. We still won’t be sure if constitution would be drafted by then, but at least we’d have some hope. It appears that the government caved in to the travel industry demand too soon, the industry with short vision.

Ya. But at least in the name of Nepal Tourism Year, we are getting relief from Banda, Hartals. If we wait for another Tourism Year without load Shading, then......... .Constitution is just a political propaganda.

The point is advertising Nepal to the world for tourism, not to get temporary relief. Tourism is and can be a big boost of revenue for Nepal and it should be treated as a major industry, with good planning and implimentation.

Nepal is the most beautiful country in the hand of poorest management. If we think about boosting revenue for Nepal, Tourism, agriculture and hydro power are the major industry. If we see the present political games, it will take years to have Tourism Year with all required facilities.

As, it has started now, we cannot stop it. Lets make it a huge success.

Khusbu Sarkar is known as a genious guy since his college days. I heard that his ideas were used in dbase III+ programming back in those days when word perfect was a big thing. I do not know if he got a chance to work for Nepalese government or any Science and Technology ministers or IT-commission chiefs had ever cared about having this genious guy for Nepal. I guess "NO".  That is how talented people are treated in Nepal.

Nevertheless, the creative idea this team has put in the above video for presenting the pride of Nepal is really very good. From facebook to blogsites, this clip have been viewed and shared thousand times, which proves the liking of this video by the entire Nepalese population.

However, I started to rethink "what are the top secrets exposed in this clip?"
1. tantrik budhdhism.
2. Newar art and architecture originated in KTM
3. Lama art and architecture originated in Budhdhist monastries
4. Natural landscapes from high-hill mountains
5. There is nothing included in the clip since the so called "unification" led by Gorkhali king PN Shah occured. Doesn't that mean that the entire creativity of Nepal ceased after Gorkhali invasion? That is the top secret exposed in this clip.

Are all images in this video real or fictional ? If they are real, then Nepal must be the most beautiful country in the world !!!
