Has anyone travelled to Nepal just three months before their I-20 was to expire? My current I-20 for Master's is until Feb 2012 and I am travelling to Nepal in Decmber.
Has anyone had any problems at the port of entry due to this?

It doesnt matter as long as you have it signed by your dso within a year of your travel date. If your study doesnt end within the i20 date you mighnt want to extend your anticipated graduation date and get another I20

As long as you have a valid I-20 and Visa, it won't matter. One of my buddies only had 2 months of visa left prior to his scheduled departure to Nepal. He went home and came back, no questions asked. Good luck.
