Namaste Makuramanche, Since Mum and Dad are from "Heaven on Earth", surely my friend, you must be one of the Heavenly Princes! Do you realise how priceless you are? If only I can trade places with you. I hope you will share your knowledge and skills acquired overseas with the not so fortunate souls who continue to keep Pokhara looking like "Heaven". Serve your Nation.

Nice to hear all pokhereli or Bhupu (Ex) Pokhereli talking about our beautiful place. No doubt, Pokhara is the best city in Nepal. I have lived all my life until 1998 in Pokhara, studied from JCA (Junior Citizens' Academy) formerley know as Mount Annapurna Boarding School. I go back home more or less every year. I was there whole of the month of August. It is so peaceful than KTM. I can't even live in KTM for one day, no disrespect for the city but its just me, too crowded, pollution (sound and Air) and the strikes, you never know when its gonna happen.
Makuramanche, Hemja is at the bottom of Dhampus, from where you actually start your journey to Dhampus. Hemja starts from Yamdi, where the first bridge is on Pokhara-Baglung Highway, just 2 KM out of Bagar/Simpani.
Anway, I will post the video from my trip as soon as I convert them. Photos i will post them tonight.
Lets post amateur pictures (no wallpapers or post cards please) here taken by all sajhayati travelled to Pokhara in recent years.

Ah, so my fren, you do have very active family members. That's wonderful news. See, that's what I mean by serving your country. Someone in your family has already started something futuristic for the community i.e. a place for education. How many brilliant students from Uday Primary School will one day study in the US? You just never know. But alot depends on follow-up by the younger generation...people like you. Think about it and see what you can do to keep the family name growing. And when I go to Pokhara the next time, I'll check out this school and perhaps conduct an Anti-Smoking Talk for the children.

By the way, its Heartbeat sis not bro! If I'm not able to visit the school during Tihar, than I'll definitely go there during my next trip to Nepal. By the way, I've already done this topic to two schools one month ago. Had approx. 180 students with eyes glued to the Powerpoint presentation and ears peeled to grasp every word I said. Had a good time. By the way, did you know that smoking is injurious to health!
