Happy New Year 2008 to all the Sajha Members.

I am not good writer however; I have been a silent reader of for Sajha for a long time. I have benefited so many things from this network and want to learn more in the future. I feel like this the community where we can learn, share and inspire. Well I have heard about this person through news paper which was published in various news papers such as Boston Herald, News paper of New England and others. Her Name is Bishnu Maya Pariyar. Actually I went to her talk at Harvard University when she received Bridge Builder Award. She spoke about the organization she founded www.edwon.org. She is helping more than 2000 women and 15 hundred children in Nepal.I was so inspired by her. I was so curious to know more about her . So I Google her name and I found so much good things that she has done to help her people in Nepal. I though I should post about her. I think she is the model for other young generation. I heard now she is working as a family Advocate to help people with their health and Human rights issue in Boston Area. If you want to know more about her, just google her name.

Here are some links of her work
