Speaking after inaugurating direct rail service between Kolkata and Dhaka on Monday, Mukherjee said: "We support the Maoists' victory in the April 10 CA poll in Nepal and view it as a positive development. The Maoists have successfully taken part in the democratic process." Stating that India had earlier, too, told the Maoists that they would benefit from abjuring gun culture and violence, Mukherjee said: "It will now be easier for India to work with the democratically elected government of Nepal." Politburo member of the Communist Party of India Sitaram Yechury, who also attended the inauguration function, expressed satisfaction at the CPN-Maoist victory in Nepal. "Indian communists have an opportunity to learn from Nepal's CPN-Maoist," he said. Stating that he would make a final opinion on Nepal election only after seeing the final results, Yechury said: "The CA polls were conducted successfully and the Maoists are now gearing up to enter the mainstream politics in a responsible manner." He said Indian Maoists had nothing in common with Nepal's Maoists. "Nepal's Maoists have given up violence, but their Indian counterparts are still continuing to slaughter innocent people here." India's former foreign secretary G Parthashastri said it was imperative to honour the Nepali people's verdict. Mad dogg - I know none of us, as being educated individual, would vote for communism, thats the truth. Now we need to talk in reality. In reality, the maoist have already won the election, they will write the new constitution. Can we wait and see what their plans are? Everything will never be perfect for some people. We need to understand that they want democratic republic. To me it looks like they will use good ideas from communism and good ideas from democratic and make plans and ideas. But we will not know anything untill they let us know on what their plans are.

in the meanwhile can you tell some good ideas about communism since you seem to know alot about it. I am sure there are some good ideas ...take time if needs. We all will appreciate it.

My college's unofficial motto is "Communism", a lot of profs and students are communists, and there are always communist flags and slogans spread around the campus, but still there's nothing done about it.
