Yeah baby, this is what we all wanted to see. Lakers up 2-1. and they have to go up 3-1 in the next home game. what a 2nd half exp 4th quarter. ball movements was good and there was good finish in every possessions. who had ever expected kobe to be averaging less than 30 in the post season and go up 2-1 against filthy #2 suns. who had ever expected all starters to be in double-figure in 2nd time in a row in the post-season? ironically, this has happened only 3 times in the regular season.do you guys know that lakers won 11 of their last 15 games in the regular season to grab the #7 for the playoffs. in this series, kobe has proved why he is the real mvp. he is not just the scoring machine, rather he is more than that, he is a playmaker for this young lakers team. what a performance by walton and parker tonite. better give mvp award to kobe, not to nash. go lakers!! go kobe....!!!

Ram Prasad Who??? bro, seems like you didn't read the Title "Go Lakers, Go Kobe"....last time I checked, we didn't care about Mavericks on this post...neither Kobe plays for mavericks..... Now, the thing about Mavericks for waiting for Lakers.....don't feel too good by beating Memphis...a wrecked team waiting to blow....Mavericks are good, better than they ever been...but Sweeping Memphis does not prove a thing......so, hold your breathe...aight... If you hate Kobe, then so be it...you don't have to like the guy, but he is the best player in the league....cry all u want, but Dirk is no where close to Kobe....Guys like you cost him the MVP this year......who judge him by what happened to Shaq and Phil....To set the records straight...Shaq was under contract when he demanded the trade, and Phil's contract was up, and Lakers chose not to give him a part of the team ownership, and he left.....It was Kobe who was free agent, not Shaq....so, technically, Shaq left for more money and longer contract, which Lakers didn't wanna give...besides, after being traded, Shaq has not been better, but has rather slowed down...thus proving the point why Lakers didn't wanna pay him millions for nothing !!! Delicate Bro, Aakash, Dead ...we are all in Lakers Squad ke....Ram Prasad, please do us a favor and send ur note to Kobe...he needs more ammo for tomorrow's beat down game against the Suns ! Peace !

As much as I want Lakers to win the series! I hate to tell you all not to underestimate Phoenix Suns. I have my fingers crossed for the Spurs to lose cause I don't want to see them playing against Mavs ! (Me too happens to be a MFFL) I am a bit skeptical about Mavericks winning the series if they play the spurs cause Spurs kicks everyone's ass! About Kobe, I don’t think there is any one in NBA that is as good as him -- not even Nash!

U r right Crusader: They(SUNS) won 54 games ...that ain't a fluke..but they were average .500 team without Kurt Thomas....But, I think as long as Lakers stick to the game plan they used for games 2,3,4, they will be just fine !!! I'd say, they will close-out the series against the Suns Regarding Spurs and Mavs, I think Mavs have enough to beat the Spurs this year....but again...Spurs play their best when it really matters....I doubt Kings will win the series...they are giving a good fight.....Would be nice to see Spurs V Mavs, and Lakers Vs Clippers.....Home State Rivalry in the Western Conference !!!

Yeah!!! GO LAKERS>....tonite at 10 30...cant miss it!!! Do i still need to explain to kobe haters why lakers kept Kobe and let go shaq?? look at shaq ...he can barely win games by himself..how many games did he miss this year?? i know he didnt play until december... KObe missed only 2 games cause of the suspension... KOBE has done everything what lakers have been asking for...why would somebody pick old banged up shaq over Healthy young & Dangerous KOBE BRYANT!!! Trust me guys, Kobe's BEST games n days is yet to come!!! trust me on this one!!! I feel pity on shaq...i like him...he is the most dominant player n all that but its time for him to stay home with his 6 kids and a lil wife and act like a real daddy !!!

I said I don't doubt his ability to play...he plays best.....look at last year record.....they didn't make play off....Phil Jackson came and turn around the team.....so...you guys need to say thank you to Phil Jackson for bringing good of him.......so just don't be proud of Kobe....take the Phil Jackson out of the equation, the Lakers will be back to 2004 stat .....I can judge however I want to coz it's my way of judging...you guys can not tell me how to judge..... Knightcrawler bro....I can not send Kobe any wishes.....I am going for Nash coz he used to be Ex-Mavs.......I told you that I am MFFL..... My brother is big fan of Lakers....but he is entitled to have his own opinion and choose a team and likewise I do....... I hope he is never placed in the same place as Jordon, Barkeley, Pippen(sp?)...... MVP for him.....opinioted people like me didn't cost him MVP pal!.....NBA league has better players than him...that's the reason he isn't going to win........ Anyway.....somebody here were calling on Kobe haters....So I thought I will pop in put my two cents of my own thought here...... Go Mavericks.......MFFL..........................

Ok ramprasad...points noted!!! For ur kind information, kobe has already surpassed Barkeley and Pippen..no comparison. Jordon..i m a Jordon fan so i dont like to compare. They both r the greatest!!! I like Mavricks too..i hope they beat the hell out of the Spurs. i think if they play good D and efficient Offense, they have everything else to beat the Spurs..afterall, spurs is all banged up this year...Parker can have his 40 points..stop inconsistent Duncan and Manu.. Go Lakers!!!

Mr AX, seems like you are still in crack. I told you before also, just go out and freshen yourselves. i told you before man, why don't you listen? anyways, you are still stuck with nasty nash huh?? ok here is my concern, if you are agreeing with the fact that kobe is the best player in the league and you still think nash is the mvp?? what's the meaning of mvp?? do you know the full form of mvp?? everybody thinks that the mvp award goes to the best player in the league. could you please explain me man?? and by the way, i am watching game6 lakers vs. suns. what a turn around. down lakers down 10 points (20-30) with 5 minutes to go, lakers had 17-0 run to end the 1st quarter including the buzzer beater 3 points by kobe. what a game!! go lakers!! go kobe..!!

Delicate saathi.....you are not anything like your name suggest....be fair and don't call on someone saying whether they know the meaning or full form of MVP....If somebody doesn't like what you like.....that doesn't mean that they are anything less in intelligence....You like Lakers....I like Mavericks....we have different choices as everyone.....so be fair and be nice.......I am not trying to be smart and teach you something...I am just requesting you to be on limit when you are calling on someone......

talkin about thomas getting new contract... i was actually checking Jerry Mcguire on FX channel at the same time while watching stevie nash doin his thing to Kobe's LA.. BOOYA!!! i loved it..... isn't it funny, when shaq said so much to kobe and kobe said notthin back, and when nash fouled this dude in the 2nd game(??) and kobe was there tryinna bully nash .. and then again when bell choke slammed him the other nite he tried to act cool again.. wonder what was all that about... yeah like Bell said, Kobe gets away with a lot of shit and i don't like that dude... hopefully nash and marion nail the coffin rite there....

SR, This is not the thread to talk about kobe's attitude. it is about the greatness of his ability to play b'ball. you are like one of those rotten potatoes, who wants to spoil others also. why you are so jealous with kobe making his personal attitude as a negative point always? people like you have judged one of the great player in the nba wrongly. if you really want to talk, then why you talk about the greatness of the suns, huh!! greatness of suns, sounds funny man. seems like kobe haters are now confronting themselves in this thread when they tied this series. where were you before when the lakers were 3-1 up in the series? isn't it true that you were hiding or went to fishing because you didn't even had any hope on suns? anyways, last night's game wasn't bad, as i expected kobe hit 50 points. but it wasn't like a team as in game2, 3 and 4. brown slipped past the ball at 3 times when he was in a high percentage shooting area. walton was awesome. and as usual odom, was always into the game. one thing for sure, marion and the suns haven't been able to contain odom throughtout the series. hopefully he will continue his dominance in game 7 also. lakers still has one chance to prove that he and phil can lead this young, inexperienced team into the 2nd round of the playoffs. go lakers!! go kobe..!!
