And lastly, its all but confirmed that Dirk is the MVP......after seeing the first 2 matches, its pretty obvious why Dirk is NOT the MVP...even though he (will) win this year ! If I have to vote, hard to make the case against Nash, but I am biased, so I would give it to my Man, KOBE !

Kobe's the best player in the league but no way the MVP ...It desevedly should go to Nash. i am saying this as a dirk fan
as far as kobe goes he cannot be a MVP unless either of the three happens
he makes his team mates better
his team mates make themselves better
lastly and more importantly -Lakers manage to atleast get a homecourt advantage going into the playoffs
again no doubt kobe is a good player with a very verybad team ..i cannot see any other team losing after its superstar scores 50 points..that proves how bad the team is...

I agree with you man....The problem is Lakers has Kobe, and full of garbage.......Lamar Odom is still hurt, Walton is an OK player...other than that, they have no one who whould start with any other NBA teams...Its becoz of Kobe's greatness that they managed to be in the playoffs.......I keep thinking if Kobe had not gone on a 50 points spree for that 4 game stretch, and had they lost atleast one of those games, Clippers would be playing, and Lakers would be fishing.....

Kobe has been criticized unfairly for so long, and I don't think it will ever change no matter what good he does.....Critics are good for only one thing, CRTIC....and haters will be haters.....Too bad, they can't open their eyes to witness the greatness they wish they had witnessed 20 years from now......I hope I made it clear, I love KOBE !
