i do not want to support or oppse anyone. To me this matter is of very little significance compared to what is going on in nepal. But please take a moment and think there may be many people in Nepal who consider actresses like karishma manandhar as idol or st.

I think it is possible to think film personalities as their Idol, so think if the person u consider as idol goes to other country and is working in "less than ideal" place. Maybe they will think themselves feel hurt or st.

I truely think it is possible. And to all the people who commented u really have to agree that even the US citizens will nto consider working in SUBway as a highly respected job, do u?

Please excuse me if i have written something wrong, just my thoughts after going through all this. Maybe we should better use our resources to discuss something more improtant.

On the serious note, I do not see any wrong working in the Subway. However, same trend to respect any sort of job should be developed in Nepal.

On the contary, is it worth it for these well set actors and actresses and other individuals to come to US and work in the SUbway leaving behind the glory and luxury they hadin Nepal?

First of thanks to nepaliG for starting this thread, and was prette pleased to know many of us (Nepalis) respect the work despite of its type or kind, Well, work is work whatever it might be.........KAAM chha ta MAAM chha!!!

At the same time, Im not PROUD of Karishma and Puja for working in subway.... nor its a matter of shame....

Many of sajha frens have said "Let them leave alone, why should interfer one's private life?" but Ive something to add, they are not like me nor like you, hoowever they are they are, they are public figures in NEPAL, almost everone knows them (at least KARISHMA)...... when we want to know more and more aboout them in MEDIA why cant we talk about them in SAJHA.... ??

ITs not Karishma, Puja, Saroj Khanal, Narayan Manahdahar, Basanta Thapa, Nirajan Rayamajhi (Football stars), Prem Raja, Raja Ram or whoever.. but its a matter of situation of our country...and being NEPALI.. fortunately or unfotunately we were borin in the country where half of population live below 1 dollar a day....... shold we ashamed of being NEPALI????????? not at all...........

A job worthy of great respect and admiration....Look at these girls they have been making sandwiches for all of us to eat all day not to mention cleaning the toilets and having to still hear criticism from their managers....but that doesnt stop them from putting a smile on their face and serving us, the customers...We can only hope that our Nepali actresses possess the same qualities as these two extraordinary women..
