Man, All these talk about syanga is making me Nostalgic.I cant type correctly in roman nor can i write properly in English , so i am going to try in bhachiyeko english.

First of all my Mama Ghar is Armadi Khola near Ram Bacha and I was from Karendanda after that like most of us we moved to KTM for a “better future”.

Reading to all these thread is like a flash back to all the fond memories i had in Syangja.

There are a lot of things I miss about syangja . Just the name syangja brings back flood of memories, I miss Dashin Purnia ko Mela in Pelka Chaur Mankamana. I also miss the rodhis in my mama ghar. We have this place called pokhari where they had this rote ping set up every year and every year me and my cousins went there to sing dance and drink. We drank tin pane rakshi, ate shel roti with kakrako achar and flirted with all the soltinies who came to sing dohori.

Even tough i grew up in kathmandu, i never forgot Syangja i went there 2-3 times a year just to feel the excitement you get of going to your ( gau) SYANGJA.

Now i am in us working my ass off, getting drunk and feeling uncertain about everything and i do get home sick now and then and when i dream of home i always dream of syangja with Machapuchree across the horizon and Adhi khola flowing deep below.
