According to the current law, what happens to the property in Nepal if we get US citizenship ?

Note: It's being serious matter for one of my friend. Please share if anybody have experience or idea. Thanks in advance. 

Nothing ; IF Maoist crime gang knows it, then he will be in BIG Trouble.  They are good in making money with extrotion and so on.

Have him apply for NRN card. By law, an individual is entitled to own 2 ropanis of land in KTM valley (not a 100 percent abt the figure though). If he's set to inherit more, it shouldn't even be a problem as rich folks being well connected is pretty much a given. 

 If the property was in your name before you becoming US citien. nothing will happen for your generation. You can keep, sell as you wish. Because you were Nepali when you aquired that property. However, there will be limitation for your kids if you decided to transfer ownership to your kids ( US Citizen).

Timro_mero_sathi, where did you get that info about naturalized citizens of US formally Nepali citizens allowed to keep their inherited property? :) would you please tell me where is info or where did you hear it from? i am on the same boat and u have a good news there :)

According to current law of nepal, is any non-citizen allowed to buy land or property ? If not what happens to the property in their name when they are no more Nepalese citizen ? That is my question.
