Just came across a nice quotation while shopping today.

'Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift,
so we call it present.'

Please share if you have more.

Today!

Last night I sought true courage to rise.
Optimism danced on Himalayan heights.
Heard painful noise in faraway voice.
A devil got drunk amid sacred rejoice.
Came the dawn with half-hearted smile.
The beauty of Nagarkot had gone senile.
Outskirts that once gave me sunrise.
How long should sunshine dwell on trial?
May God bless those departed lives.
Today is that gift for sun to rise.
Optimism is always there for me to guide!!!
(Dedicated to the innocent lives lost yesterday)

I am very much impressed by these lines;

"In god we trust, all others must supply data."
I found this in an essay in a journal and it was given as the only golden rule of scientific research.

"Those who do not study history are forced to get it from hollywood."
-Allen Barra
(He was saying that hollywood always distorts historical facts.)

"The last reader will recycle the last newspaper in 2040-April 2040 to be precise."
- Philip Meyer
(The writer was predicting everything online future.)

How about
Quotations by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

"Change the way you look at things,
and the things you look at change."

Another one

"That which offends you only weakens you."

Fill your days with smiles.............

This one for Oys brother:

"Find out just what the people will submit to and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them; and these will continue until they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
--Frederick Douglass

One more:

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win--Gandhi

it's not mine but my friend told me once:

" pahile raadi janina, pachi raadi manina, bagh lagyo ghichyauna, raadi lagi chichyauna"

meaning: first he/she didn't know then s/he didn't care, the tiger came and start dragging then s/he started to cry and scream

"bhagyamani ko bootai kamaro"

"murkha dekhi daiba daraucha"

"binashkale biparita buddhi"

"lato ladcha ek baldyang batho ladcha tin baldyang"

"lato desh ma gado tanderi"

"faleko brikshya ko hanga jhukcha"

there are plenty more .... later maybe

Salvador Dali-

" The difference between false memories and true ones is the same as for jewels: it is always the false ones that look the most real, the most brilliant."

No wonder why most of the women are always attracted to a shiny thing.
