were u the starter of the thread? or are you also one on the same boat as the starter? man, you gotta be kidding. what would i do with your info and pics? hahaha. i understand the plight of most of the graduate students here in US. advisor and budweiser -- school and apartment-- life revolves around those four things hahaha..there's hardly any time for partying and stuffs. and that takes away the possibilities of being known in your community, among your kinda people. and i know most of the girls out there either get petrified by nerds or are uninterested on someone who has big time romance with studies/research hahaha..

but what makes you so desperate (sorry if the word is too offending) to come to sajha looking for the other half? jeez, this place is not even half as serious as you might be thinking. and plus no matter how smart or handsome you could be in real, people wouldn't care a shit long as you veil inside the 'burka' called kanchabhai hahaha..

here's what i would do if i were you:
take some time off from your hectic schedule. go to parties in your area, create hobbies on other stuffs apart from your research--there are plenty you can engage yourself with and they will help you make an all-rounder out of yourself and a better researcher as well. do some gym-ing and stuffs, tone up your body. get rid of the pot-belly, if you have one. stay fit and fresh. play some tennis or golf or anything that's fun. create networks among people, or be a part of them. let them know that you are one eligible bachelor that's there for the taking. i heard that some of the matrimonial sites are pretty genuine as far as their authenticity is concerned. give them a shot.


all these will help you in giving you more visibility and confidence (which is very important). and one more thinng: when you're NOT looking, chances of you getting one are MORE than when you're desperately trying to get one ASAP.
