How long it will take to transfer H1B visa from one company to another? How long USCIS generally take to process once they receive the application form.

Here is my situation. I am planning to go Nepal in summer, but i have to change my job from one company to another before that. So, if i file H1B from new company, how long they will take to process to get approved and notify US embassy in Nepal if necessary.

And how long can a H1B holder can stay in vacation without getting paid.

I guess if you have a H1 you can apply for a visa coming Oct.

If you have a current H1B visa (not the one starting coming oct) it take 15 days to 1 month for you to transfer to different company if u do premium processing. You don't have to notify US embassy in nepal right now but you have to apply for visa to come back to US. About vacation, it depends how long ur employer lets you off.

You can stay as long as your employer allows,as long as you're not in US.

I stayed in Nepal for 2 months.
