Kapil,
You might not have realized, however, with your pointed question, you have answered the biggest question why republic was necessary in the first place.
To have an excuse no more, to have a scape-goat no more, to blame somebody else no more !

After KING, people should blame for themselves. They deserve what they are getting- " CHAOS- no rule of law insecurity, scarcity, price hike, lootings, blasts, and more blodsheds"
The day will be remembered in history, and it will be remembered for how nepal followed the foot step Sikkim.-GUD JOB SONIA!!!!

hehehehe.....we have Sonia to be blamed now EAGLE5.....
In you list of issues...add one more...No books...close down school...I guess this happen for the first time in the history of Nepal...I put the blame of this on KING too...It there was no KING we would not have needed CA election....if there was no election we wouldn't need ballat paper for election...as such books would have been printed on time...We need republic to print our books on time...
Govt schools shut down due to lack of textbooks
The Ministry of Education and Sports has decided to close down government and community schools from Tuesday till June 10.
The decision was prompted by the lack of textbooks in the market.
The Ministry has said that classes will resume after the textbooks are made available in all the districts within two weeks.
The Ministry has informed that Janak Educational Materials Center could not print the textbooks on time as it had to print ballot papers for the Constituent Assembly election.
The decision to close schools has come after students, and parents resorted to vandalism and protests in several districts demanding textbooks nepalnews.com sd May 27 08
