On your return in Abi Dabhi Terminal 1-  15HR 30MIN you have to await to get another plane to O'Hara, USA.

Is hotel accommodated for over 15 hrs stay time? Please check with your agent.

ya..that..was..the..thing..i..was..concerned..with...I..got..this..from..travel..house..for..1625.

while..going..to..nepal..too..there..is..a..transit..period..of..14hrs..25mins.

Call  Bikas at 703-241-0061, I just talk to him and he was saying that if you travel on 1st week of December , price may be lower than you have mentioned?

The price seems reasonable for the time of the year you're travelling. But, from Houston, there are shorter routes than u have for around the same pricing.

1. Houston >> Doha>> Kathmandu (with Qatar Airlines)

2. Houston>> Frankfurt>> Abu Dhabi>> Kathmandu (with Etihad)

There some other airlines with more direct routes than the one u have right now. Be sure to check all possible options - dont think there will be a that much price increase if u fly with Qatar or with Etihad in the above routes. These routes also have a fewer flight as well as transit time.

If you are travelling in ur current route, make sure with ur travel agent that u will be provided with a hotel (& ofcourse complimentary dinner & breakfast) in Abu Dhabi as all Etihad passengers are entitled to it with more than 12 hours of transit in Abu Dhabi. Some even get with a transit of 4 or 5 hours. So, be sure to check with ur agent & make him write a note in the system so that there wont be any hassble when u land in Abu Dhabi and claim ur complement.

Hey Jhapaliketo, I went Nepal this summer. I did not go to Ktm. As your name suggests, I'm assuming that you are from Jhapa and that will be your final destionation in Nepal. My experience is, if you don't have to go to ktm, then the route via Kolkata is quite nice. You can fly from Kolkata to Bagdugra Intl airport  in 1 hr and withing 1 hour from there you are at home. The fare is also  quite cheaper via calcutta route compared to ktm.
