Can  anyone tell me from their experience how long does it take to get case number or receipt for H1b? If any body has filed H1B recently and got the receipt. I am working on CPT and my employer says that they already filed my H1B about 2 weeks ago. But  I'vent got any receipt or case number. So, wondering if they really filled my H1B or not.  Is there any other way to find out if they filed my H1B for sure?  Thanks for your help.

I remember for OPT we had to pay ourself so once the money is deducted from the bank a/c we can see the back and front of that check online, the back used to have the receipt no, something like SRC ........ I'm not sure if you can do that with h1b or ask ur employer if they can find anything for you.
