With the election over here in US (thank god), the looming threat to same sex group is that Bush will bring the change in constitution banning all same sex marriages.I was just wondering what Nepalese society think about it.

No ,I don't have any special interest .I am happily married.But I have a huge social group and we discuss about everything.Last night we had a great debate over this topic and my friends were asking about the response in my community .Hence I posted this thread to know about it.

the way all the sajha ladies are claming to be married, I fear pretty soon we guys might have to vote against banning same sex marriage.. hehe... Ram ram.. (rum rum?)

Anyway, I really don't give a damn 'bout same sex marriage, and Bush shouldn't either. It's more about personal choice. If somebody is not paying for my daily expenditure, my utility bills, my all kinda bills and stuffs for free (eg. I drive a car my pleasure and on their expense), then they don't have any right to interfere on my personal decisions. If I were a citizen of USA and if Bush provided me with hefty monthly salary and benifits for no contribution from my side, then I wouldn't mind him coming up with any kind of laws. Otherwise, he has no moral right to interfere on a TAX PAYERS personal choices UNLESS it threats the society like the Guns or Drugs...Right now, we, the society is paying Bush a salary and until the day it's other way around, Bush shouldn't give a damn about same sex marriage when he has bigger issues to deal with... get over with them first. On the long run the same sex marriage might affect the society but for the time being, he has bigger issues to worry about like Iraq, Job oppertunities, Inflations... eh... They might say same sex marriage will end up with less birth rate and might affect the evolution and what not, what about this, what if Bush could not come up with good job oppertunities, and the married couple (different sex of course) can not afford to have kids, wouldn't it affect the same way as same sex marriage did?

I am amazed that americans r still hanging on abortions, same sex marriage....in this case I would like to say Nepal is much better in the track where abortion is already legalised(with certain conditions) , gay issue is quite new to nepal but I am damn sure when there is enough debate they wont mind legalising it. Bush is just another ass hole..the whole world goes one way his american arrogance makes him go the other way....I really dont see future in States as long as bush is there.

I personally don't like to see a guy having sex with another guy..ewwee.. But if that is their choice why should anybody worry about ?. I would have give them a right if they think it is right, their are none to be harmed anyway...
