This year was probably the best soccer touranemnt finals ANA ever had i was just able to watch the finals .And what a game it was .NY deserved to be the champions although people feel they were a little lucky .i was supporting sanfransico and im sure if it wanst for all the consfusion they would have been the champions this year . Probably suprise for this year was los angeles team .what i hear from people they gave Ny really a good game and their defense was probably the best defense but thier offense was out of place and looked un organized . Dallas team had a pretty poor performance with people who couldnt run .portaland team ahd couple of good strikers but couldnt get past the good team .Sanfarn was probably the beast team with the best talanted players in offence and midfield .anyways congratulations to NY what did u guys think about the soccer touranment GOOd luck to sanfarnsico for the next tournament in floridaaaa ..Gooooo SAN FRANNNN

The standard of ANA soccer tournament has been improved drastically in last 2-3 years. This year’s tournament has proved one can’t not win the championship having by just having numbers of national level players in roster. If you look at this year’s tournaments-- DC team was lead by some outstanding players’ including former U19 goalie and sensational former national team striker Rajan Rayamajhi. SF also had a few very good players including one national level player. Yes LA team has been improved a lot but I think NYNYC was not lucky enough to score goals. The game was dominated by NYNYC. Well SF played really well but that game was also dominated by NYNYC. Actually the controversial penalty kick against NYNYC helped SF to stay on the game. NY team’s record has been really good for last four years, having won two championships in last three years and reached in ANA finals for last four years.

The SF and NW team's were at a complete disadvantage in the semifinals because they did not even get one hour of rest between games. You would think they would have the winner's of the early games play eachother in one semifinal and the winner's of the later game play eachother in the other seminfinal, that's a no brainer if I were any one that is organizing this event. The NY players that get a red card in the semifinals get to play in the final. Where does the FIFA rules come into play? The remaining players on NY that start fighting and arguing receive no punishment for their chaotic behavior. Great job DC, SF.

You don’t expect 100% of FIFA rules to be applied in this type of tournaments. FIFA rules also don’t include -- 30 minutes half, 5 minutes half time, unlimited subs and two games in a day. I would not blame NY, rather for poor management from organizing committee. There was not even single controversy last year (ANA NYC 06) when it was organized by NY and moreover ANA NYC 06 was the best organized sports tournaments. NY truly deserves the victory! hope to see SF and NW next year in Baltimore.

Northwest team and SF team was very organized team great passes and great goals. I would have loved to see both team play against each other in the finals. Didn’t care much about NYC and other teams…… DC team was great too….but only reason DC won against NW team was because NW team didn’t get any rest and Dc team had almost over 2 hours of rest. NW team had 14 players and at least 6 players got muscle cramps and couldn’t play…….

ANA soccer tournament has come a long way, and it gets better every year. I was part of the toronto team in ANA NY and i realized that there are still a lot of improvement to be made in organizing the soccer tournament. The games were not regulated properly, we had some players on the opposing team who played for different teams, the referees were unprofessional and there were no members of the organizing committee present as strictly organizers who over saw the tournament. most important thing i noticed was that most of the players were not in good sports spirit, some of the players were very eager to start a brawl. We have to deal with a lot of issues including visas, travel to come participate in the ANA. Last year we could only get 13 of our boys across the border to play. i hope the up coming organizers keep these issues in mind and do a better job in organziing these games. These tournaments are not easy to organize, however there are lots of rooms for improvements.

Fedora Mula...ANA NYC was the best organized sports tournament!!!! Give me a break, having Volleyball and Basketball on the same court at the same time was good..Volleyball bouncing on the b-ball court and getting confused with volleyball whistle was great. Even better was the 3 point line made out of duct tape..Congrats and go NYC OR GHETTO NEW WOK..
