Hi - I have a feeling my problem is pretty simple but since its the first time I'm facing it not sure ... would be great if someone can help. I work in a Delhi based IT firm (been living here for 7 yrs), the company is planning to send me to our HQ in US for maybe 3-6 mnths and thereafter to Europe to work there. I have a Nepali passport. The company will itself be applying for the visa for me, will I have any prob / will the US embassy here ask me/my company to get it processed from Ktm US embassy only ... any idea how these things work .... Thanks

NorthPoint, If a company is requesting for a visa for you for the company's interest, you can surely apply from any country--moreover, the company is based in and you work in India and not in Nepal. However, if it's you applying for yourself for a pleasure travel then you are advised to go and apply from your native country although it is not a requirement.
