This is for a friend:
Whens the earliest one can come to US once he recieves his F1 visa in Ktm. A friend of mine got the visa last week but his school doesn't start until Aug. Is it possible for him to travel early???

No. the rule is you can not enter USA more than 30 days prior to your orientation.
