I totally understand and respect that sajha.com is your money making venture and so you would like to put maximum amount of advertisement on your site. I appreciate the services that sajha.com and I inturn try to provide what little content that I can. But dai, your home page is loading slower and slower. I love that music clip that plays, for example. But couldn't we have a link that we could click to play it instead of it playing automatically, please?

It's just coming to this site (sajha) is getting annoying because of how long I have to wait for it to load just to click links and and such. I'm not sure if it's just me or any one else is having this problem too. 

Take it the right way ok dai? I do appreciate the hard work you put into this site.

It loads really slow over here too! This should be fixed. The dashain dhun plays automatically everytime and I don't like it. It's good for few times but not always.

Hi Babal Khate and Ghorle,

I am surprised to hear that sajha is taking a long time for you guys to open. Below is a video demo of how fast it loads for me. Even though the video shows about 2 seconds, normally it would be from 2 to 6 seconds for the home page. The other pages should load faster since they don't have as much content as the home page.

I can think of four things that could potentially affect your load times

1. Internet speed
2. Browser plugins
3. Computer speed
4. Around 2 am server time there is a scan going on so it might be a little slow during that time.

Perhaps try disabling your browser plugins, or download a brand new copy of Chrome and see how it works. I would like to work with you guys till we fix the problem because I remember back in the days when sajha was very slow due to web hosting companies shared hosting and it was painful to try to browse sajha, but since we moved to dedicated hosting, the site has been a lot faster. And I want to work with you guys till your speed problem is resolved or understood.

When I say I don't want sajha to be about any one person, I also mean that I don't want sajha to be about me. That is why I try to keep my responses in sajha to a minimum unless I feel it is warranted for sake of general information that can relate to other sajha visitors.

And this is not something that I made up just now. If you read the "About Sajha" page that I last updated around 2003, then you will see the paragraph there.

Another unacceptable use is when someone decides to use sajha.com to fulfill his/her personal propaganda by CONTINUOUSLY posting the SAME or SIMILAR content in almost every other thread. This kind of behaviour has its toll on visitors to sajha.com since it begins to alienate visitors who do not want to see the same thing over and over and over again. Hence in order to retain the freshness and vigor of the site, such personal propaganda will be considered for blocking. This includes incessant voicing of personal discontent toward certain user or users. Such personal matters need to be resolved through personal communications such as e-mail or telephone.

Towards the end of the passage, it says "personal matters need to be resolved through personal communications such as e-mail or telephone" which means posting private messages to private people should not be posted in sajha. What you talk to someone on the phone giving any romantic or sexual innuendos should remain within your and that person's personal communications and not as a showcase for you to boast your romantic conquests. Sajha is not here for anyone's self promotion or for anyone's personal propaganda of self righteousness over a continued period of time. Once in a while everything is acceptable but continuity of this kind of behavior has it's toll on the 99% of the people that you have clearly shown your disdain for. I have already made my view clear that sajha is not here to serve people who seek personal entertainment at the expense of others.

Everything is acceptable in sajha but EXCESS of anything is not good.

Since I know you prefer to make a public melodrama out of everything, I decided I will cater to your personal wishes by responding here.

I have made it clear what my aspiration for sajha is.

Generally I ban users who show outright disregard to sajha policy - no questions asked.
With you, I have been very liberal because I find you to be a talented person and deserving consideration.
But that doesn't mean you continue to disregard the overall good of sajha for your personal entertainment.

I want sajha to be a place where everyone is comfortable to post their queries and hope for a respectable answer. Not a side show of someone's personal self fulfilling drama.

I never want anyone to quit because I want everyone to find their own place and enjoy sajha for what it's worth. I don't like asking people to leave or banning people because I feel something should be worked out, and you know that I tried. But if someone becomes adamant that it's their way or the highway then highway it will have to be.
