I guess you have green card, take some courses from college too meantime take IT training so it helps you to get confidence. American world derived via confidence , one my friend's boss is High school diploma but my friend Master's degree. My experience I worked for small SBE (first job) form by mistake receptionist emailed client saying Mrs Mitez, she was divorced few months ago so she pissed off eventually she terminated. Though she was high school graduated in america. So i recommend you to learn those small things what we never encountered in our education sytem. Good luck

It's never too late to join community college. They all offer various technical programs, I would not have hesitate to join if I have to , still ....

3 yrs bachelor does not recognized here bro, probably some private college may accept you for conditional master's program but they charge tons of money which i don't think , what you looking for. so start from community college get bachelor's and start working meantime you can join master's. regarding the transfer that 3 years courses you can transfer some of them but its entirely depends upon your advisor, department head, college. If you like to jump directly to master's program go Nepal or get admitted to TU (not sure they may have private master no need to attend class) do first year exam (choose easy subject which you feel comfortable) Then you will have 3yrs +1 yrs master's certificate then evaluate from international education research foundation they equivalent it to US bachelor's degree after that Apply for master's program. Decision on your hand...

That's great! Apply IERF course by course verification i guess they charge around $300, They will give you an equivalency report(official equivalent bachelor's degree) and if they ask more documents related to master's first year mark sheet just follow their instruction... (They doing business so not much PICKY like university) Take test eg toefl, ielts, gre, gmat if necessary and apply directly master's program and ask IERF to send college credentials directly to admission department. Select some state university usually they are cheaper and easy to get admission That way you can avoid all the distraction related to GPA/Percentage and complete 30 semester units at university get your degree then do whatever you like to do.

on the brighter side , it also depends on your visa status / Citizen, GC or H1b. If you have a perm status and is well versed in english , you should be able to land a job in finiance. Dont expect to land in wall street right away ...but i have some of my friends start as a bank teller and move up to small companies , or factories ...making their way up to finiance director. So keep your hopes high , Job is all about knowing people here like in nepal , make friends make nice impression....if you get lucky you will have it.

Staff Accountant AccounTax Associates LLC $13 an hourAn entry level accounting position that provides a wide variety of work experiences: To work on financial accounting for individuals and small businesses, individual and business tax planning and preparation, and general office administration tasks.Requirements include a business degree preferably in Accounting. Flexible hours are provided for individual pursing their education and professional certifications. On-the-job training and mentor ship to be provided. Look at this ad from Indeed.com. This moron needs a staff accountant with business degree but not paying more than a fast food.
I applied for a Cash accountant position and I received response that my qualification does not match. I change my resume with Sam Carlson and sent back and wanted to know if I will get an response same time frame or not.
It's about an hour no response.

Cool if you are not married and not much money needed. You can go Nepal for few months prepare for those tests and apply for college. I believe you can find best test preparation class in kathmandu with affordable cost.

If you are really into business, and economics, you should have US degree to land into professional job. Otherwise, find one IT consultancy, and start training yourself. Both are rewarding in the long run.
