On October 8, 2014 Mr. Kshitiz Shrestha flew in from Texas to SFO. According to Marine County High Patrol officer, the evening of 10/8 around 5:20 pm there is video footage of an individual carrying a rucksack walking towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Additionally, there is video footage of splash under the bridge but there isn't any footage of a man jumping off the bridge. There isn't any evidence of Mr. Kshitiz leaving the bridge either. Authorities have obtained the belongings of Mr.Kshitiz on the bridge, a bag found along with his passport and a note that says to call his brother Chirau and listed his cell number. The Marine County Highway Patrol are conducting further investigations and death hasn't been declared. We are waiting for further information from the court and authorities.

Funeral of deceased Kshitiz Shrestha was done on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Alta Vista Cremation and Funeral Service 4795 Blum Road, Pacheco (martinez), California 94553

His body was found in Contra Costa County and is ready for the last ritual.

Is he the same Chhitij Shrestha who was on Dean's List at Virginia International University in fall 2012?

Anyone knew him personally? What led him to such a decision? Anyone?

I talked to someone who had actually seen his note in Marin county police office and he told that there was just phone number of his brother but nothing else so I rule out this theory (<> on the note).

There are rumors that his GF was in El Cerrito, CA and they were going to meet in SF (or he was just hoping that she would at least come to see him) on that day but she refused to meet him once he came to SF. Lets hope we will find the truth one day. Anyway, RIP Kshitiz.

may be the gf broke up with him and he decided to commit a suicide as seems like he was already feeling low and was expecting a help from his gf who betrayed him, this is why i don't get intimacy with bitches, score them and leave them

I don't know him personally but saw him once when i was in class (Vastika). He just appeared in the door of the class, and keep on looking at me. I asked, "K cha Bro?" He didn't reply. Just gave me a smile. After few days, i heard the bad news. Shocked!! Heard that he was mentally ill. Anyways RIP..

Hi, I was his roommate when he was in Michigan. We commuted to same university. We shared my car for work and other stuff. He was a graduate student like me. After the summer of 2011(i think), he quit school. I was unsure why he did that, he said because of unpaid fees. But I doubt that, i owe him abt $1500 which i returned on that summer. He had worked hard that summer, often 7 days a week. So I thought it was a little strange. Michigan, does not have a lotta F1 students from Nepal in close proximity, but still everyone must have encouraged him to continue. Though I did not force him to stay in school, I don't regret that now but I feel I should have said something more.

So can someone please confirm this news..

He is an excellent guy, very helpful, a little gullible. But living with him for over a year, it was a little strange to be around him. Usually quiet, sometimes very quiet, other times few words. But always had a smile. He would have difficulty communicating and sharing events that bothered him and would usually start saying something and then would get uncomfortable. Then uncomfortably smile as if he would have never said that. That happens with strangers sometimes but not usually with roommmates living for long time. I met him couple of times after we split as roommates. He was fine and would be enjoying at parties.

If this news is true. I would like to say Rest in Peace, brother.
