My sister had an interview for derivative asylum visa to join to her husband in the USA. The interview went good but she was neither denied a visa nor given a visa. She was told that further review is needed. And when we check the case status on NVC website, the case status is "Administrative Processing".
is it common for derivative asylum case to go into Administrative processing? Anybody has any idea?
Do we need to be panicked? Googling Administrative processing appears to be a nightmare. Anybody went through this? Please share your experiences.

administrative process is common case these days in any visa, when u have administrative processing u will pretty sure get the visa approved. they are doing a second verification for those who have an immigrant intent visa application , in this process they are checking your political views, your social sites comments fb , tweeter, linkedin etc also security check from ur concern country , this might take from 3 weeks to 6 months depending to severity of your case, im sure they have ask her email address, phone, social media address, if not they might ask.
to be in safe side if applying for immigrant visa not to comment anything that has a political influence or even like n share to be in safe side. this is what they do in administrative processing but i mot sure if things are different for asylum seekers.

Should be okay as long as they are not submitting false/misguided documents.
