Guys I need some info regarding transferring h1b. I recently got h1b for my company and now I want to leave this company and go to another one. I have heard that you need atleast 3 or 4 paychecks before you can transfer your H1B? Ho true is this? Any other pointers? Thank you!!

You need to get at least 1 paycheck (monthly payment or two for Biweekly payment)after your H1B starts. This means you cant leave befor Nov1 2007 if you are starting oct 2007. This is all I know about.

I have talked to quite many companies and most of them say that they need two latest pay stubs. Some companies say that they will transfer H1 even without your pay stubs. But what I have come to know recently is that INS requires two latest pay stubs (mandatory requirement). They dont ask for every one's pay stubs...but at the same time we cant deny the possibility that they could be asking one of us for the pay stubs. Also, what I have heard is that most of the deshi companies that do transfer H1 with out pay stubs will come up with some fake pay stubs in case INS asks them for the pay stubs. This is just what I have come to know from talking to some of the firms. I have not talked to any legal experts/lawyers. So I cant guarantee what i mentioned above is fully correct. I would appreciate if any of you have more info on this.
