I recently visited Nepal and got my H1-B visa stamped in Kathmandu. The lady at the embassy only asked me if I had to pay anything for my H1-B petition (Answer: No). She asked me if I am getting my pay on time (Answer: Yes). She did not even look at any of the documents I had with me except for the I797 ( approval letter from CIS). That's about it. The whole interview lasted for about 2 minutes. Good luck.

On monday - I submitted forms DS156 and DS157 at Nabil bank and gave me date for Thursday morning at 8. But this was on mid october so no students applying - so less crowd.

tech guy - you will be fine within that time frame. Get the documents ready and get the date as soon as possible and one more thing get the labour sticker on your passport after you get your H1B stampped  from labour department at baneshwor, other wise at airport you will have tough time. Good Luck
