Did every paper work right from deans letter to graduation invitation too. Sala docs haru ni Sabai original raakheko thiye.... Just knowing that the visa has been rejected without any reason given
That hurts. All they said we cannot issue the visa and we also cannot give the reason. :(

When my parents applied for their visa, the counselor didn't even look at the invitation letter. The only thing that matter is the "Strong ties to the home country". They must be able to provide enough evidence showing that they do not have any intension of immigrating to US. Lots of parents that came to US to attend graduation stayed here illegally.

The bottom line is show as many sources of income your parents have and property such as lands, vehicle, bonds and stocks, banks etc.

Hope that helps

Uhi Nepali

May  be in years ( literally in distant years)  from now when Nepal becomes the super-power Nepalese get to decline Visa without reasoning too-May Be. I am feel bad for you  and  your parents. As you get the idea-its in their hands(mood) without questioning.I have ppl who passed that road.

As unpredicatable as it seems getting Visitor Visa for parents, My understanding about it is that
- if your parents are educated & mid 40's -50's ---NO
- if your parents got rejected first time, chance in 2nd & 3rd try ---NO
- whether you sponsor or they sponsor back in home, what you do here in US is (I think) relevent--might play some role
- If bank account shown had 20 thou couple of months before you apply and has 2 mil now---NO
- if your parents really wants to sneak here..wanna work & make some money (seen that) ---HELL NO !!!

it's because of fake asylee , genuine visitors are having heck of a time to get visas in Nepal now a days.

well your understanding is partially right but not totally correct. at least how the fair system should work but looks like they go by their mood too lots of times. .  even if everything is right they still deny visitor visas to parents. someone close to me came here twice in last 7 years and always returned on time. has never worked and is  73 years and  definately has lots of assets and bank balance in Nepal. her children are not illegal either in usa nd doing very well..and paying taxes and being good citizens. but they still denied ...
It's becaues of fake asylees.. it has become extermly hard because of these fake asylum filers... every Nepali student is filing asylum now a days..what's going on? i mean yes, real people who face persecution should file but just because you chose a crappy major in college, got 2.0 gpa and graduated in 7 years with no prospect to find a job with your crappy outcome does not make you eligible for asylum.. ridiculous...everyday i see in sajha about asylumm.. there was one thread where they were openly discussing about writing stories for 1500 somewhere in texas... wtf... we as a community should immediately report such threads to the authorities and serve our duty of a good resident /citizen. i highly encourage all Nepali friends to come up as a community to stop the cheaters who are cheating the most generous system of this country.

This is problem created by fake assyleeeeee
If u think sombodu get green card with fake document  and that is his personal right, you have to suffer like this. So, do not encourage fake   persona. This is national problem is sombody take advantage of nation's fake problem
